Taito Chase H.Q. 1988 (USA)

Classic driving smash up game, we actually picked it up and it was slightly working, some monitor connections were a little wonky.  The base of the arcade unit was deteriorated need to rebuild a firmer platform. PCB works perfect, power supply perfect, missing original graphic bezel which we re-designed.   Original monitor was a WG K7000 we actually removed it and replaced it with a G07 CBO thanks Herb for resurrecting the GO7 looking for a leather steering wheel from Daytona or Indy 500.   We really debated about converting this to a Cockpit sit down version that was originally released in the UK, we are thinking about it.

Machine under-going restoration.

Terminator 2 Judgement Day 1991

Terminator 2 Judgement Day 1991 was a restoration project we picked it up auction in Toronto and it had very minor issues, first time we dealt with a mirror reflection monitor game, due to the use of light guns.  Minor fix of the gear trigger mech, blub issues and a new marquee was re-designed and film printed, player 1 and 2 buttons replaced.  When we started we re-spray painted and sanded down the rust damage and then we primed we repainted the gun housings. Once completed they looked brand new.  The guns we in fantastic shape we re-enabled the recoil hammer so the guns really kick when you fire.  In addition we replaced both potentiometers in the gun housings and gear for Player 1 and keys and locks for both coindoors and back door were replaced.   Original manual was also inside the machine for tech ref.

PCB tested OK and the cabinet had great side art nothing a magic eraser wouldn’t fix Monitor was OK too.    The construction of this cabinet originally was fantastic, really cool sliding drawer for the PCB to come out.    This was a very heavy cabinet close to 520 lbps,  delivery to the client was diffucult we had to go off-road and downhill for a backyard basement delivery and had to get over a gravel door entrance.
